City set the pace with a thumping 7-1 win against the debutant Gomo FC. Here is how I rated the players from 10.
Tshering Dorji – 9 Played as striker and netted two good goals and assisted few goals as well. Positioning was excellent.
Orgyen Wangchuk – 9 Showed amazing control in the middle, setting the pace for the game. Netted a calm and composed goal to add to his performance.
Karma Sonam – 9 Brilliant debut and a brace. Created all sort of problem for the opposing defenders. Showed flare down the flanks and was decisive in the final third.
Choki Wangchuk – 8 Calm and composed in defence. Scored a brilliant goal.
Nima Wangdi – 8 Kept the ball well and maintained the shape of the team as a fulcrum.
Tenzin Norbu – 8 Reliable and assured performance at the back. Scored a proper centre half headed goal.
Phuntsho Jigme – 8 Played more as a ball playing centre half.
Lungtok Dawa – 8 Work rate was excellent down the right side. Was creating overload due to his pace and raw willingness.
Karma S Tenzin – 8 Rarely threatened. Conceded a goal, which was unstoppable.
Karma Shedrup – 7 Amazing work rate in the middle. Physical and technical at the same time.
Kinga Rabgay – 7 Worked hard the entire match, but didn’t have much to show in the final third.
